Roy Vogt Memorial Award for Exceptionally Meritorious Service Terms of Reference
The Award
The Roy Vogt Memorial Award was established at the 1998 Annual Meeting of the Faculty Association in honour of Roy Vogt, a Past President of the University of Manitoba Faculty Association. The award is regarded as the highest honour of the Association, and will be presented to an Association member or past member in recognition of particularly outstanding service to the Association. The award will be a certificate, as well as a contribution to a charity chosen by the award winner, such as the University libraries, the student hardship fund, or the CAUT Harry Crowe Foundation. If the member has not already been a recipient, the member will also be simultaneously nominated to receive the CAUT Dedicated Service Award.
The Association will make a $500 monetary donation to the charity of the recipient’s choice. In the event that there is more than one recipient in a year, the Association will make a $500 monetary donation for each of the recipients.
